Are you a business looking to create or join an apprenticeship program? Or are you a student wanting to become an apprentice with a new or current employer? No matter your situation, we have the resources to help you achieve your goals.

All apprenticeships through Kirkwood Community College are registered with the Department of Labor and have related training hours and on-the-job learning skills. Learn more by clicking on the link that relates most to you.

The Iowa Industrial New Jobs Training (260E) program provides new employee training for businesses that are growing their workforce. Made available through Iowa’s community colleges, the program is administered locally by Kirkwood Community College and is funded through the new employees’ withholding taxes at no cost to the employee or the company. Looking for funding for incumbent worker training? Call 319-398-5691 about the Iowa Jobs Training Program (260F).

Free counseling for small businesses and startups is available in Benton, Jones, and Linn counties.
